In a culture where the words "old", "dated" and "vintage" are "cool", those words aren't exactly the words that we want to describe our websites.  Trends in web design can change very quickly, all to provide a better experience for the users. What seems modern today, might seem old school tomorrow.

Here are 3 web design trends that won't be going away anytime soon with examples from our client, Donate Life Indiana.

1) Bold Colors & Straightforward Text

Bright blocks of color attract the eye and add depth to a sites layout.  When combined with clean crisp text, messages are delivered clearly and inform visitors of relevant information.

2) Illustrations & Icons

Multilevel icons and illustrations have begun to enter the picture and complement flat design and minimalism.  Adding illustrations and icons help reflect brand personality and quickly represent large blocks of text.

3) Video & Large Images

Large images and background videos are a simple way to add visual interest to otherwise boring pages.  Short videos and large images will not overwhelm the visitor, remember, short and sweet.
